Look up a Sale Date

The process of checking foreclosure sale dates is easy. First step is to find the County Public Trustee website. Most counties have their own online platform for their individual County Public Trustees so therefore, there are many different methods of entering in information. A list of county Public Trustee websites in Colorado can be found below:

Adams County Public Trustee
Arapahoe County Public Trustee
Boulder County Public Trustee
City and County of Broomfield Public Trustee
City and County of Denver Public Trustee
Douglas County Public Trustee
El Paso County Public Trustee
Eagle County Public Trustee
Elbert County Public Trustee
Gunnison County Public Trustee

When you get to the foreclosure search, we recommend that you keep it as simple and broad as possible. In most systems, you'll find the sale date information under the "Basics" tab.

*Important- foreclosing attorneys sometimes do not relay a postponement or deletion of foreclosure until the last moment (sometimes even as close as the day before foreclosure). If you feel this might be the case, you can always call the foreclosing attorney’s office. Lastly, once you have completed your search, you should have a list of foreclosures to choose from. Scroll through the list until you find your property. For more detailed information, click on the hyperlink. There you will find your foreclosure sale date.

*NED (Notice of Election and Demand) date is the original filing in the county whereas the “sale date” is your foreclosure auction date.

If you do not find what you are looking for, make it even simpler. Input only “Smith” with no street name. If you still are not finding a foreclosure sale date, there are two possibilities.
1. There is no foreclosure sale date.
2. The information provided is not accurate.
*Always double check any information provided.
